Corporate Citizen

Our long-standing engagement in assisting communities stems from our belief that there are many levels to our professional mandate. We are also deeply committed to doing all we can to support our lawyers in their pro bono contributions.

Our lawyers provide pro bono counsel to various charities and non-government organizations. For instance, Fangda Partners works in partnership with Special Care Foundation, a charity organization which was founded by the famous NBA player Ming Yao, certain individuals and companies, which is committed to providing care to children who are intellectually disabled (the firm is also a co-founder of the Foundation).

Believing in the importance of giving back to the communities in which we practice, the firm sponsors various events to promote the academic and cultural talents of law students in China:

      In the last 5 years, the firm has continuously sponsored the China round of the Jessup moot court       competition, a prestigious competition held each year with participants from around 30 leading Chinese law       schools;

      The firm has provided financial support to the international exchange students program of The Law School of       Peking University;

      The firm has frequently provided funding for debate competitions, law journals and other cultural events       organized by the students in the law schools of Fudan University, Tsinghua University and Peking University.
